Yngwie Malmsteen’s name, likeness, image, musical style, and brand identity are legally protected intellectual property. These elements are the exclusive property of Mr. Malmsteen and are safeguarded under U.S. EU and international laws governing the Right of Publicity, Trademark Protection, and Copyright.

Any unauthorized use of his name including variations such as “YJM,” references to his stylistic identity, or implied endorsements without express written consent constitutes a violation of these rights.

We have become aware that certain third-party companies are offering commercial products such as guitar presets and sound packs while inappropriately using Mr. Malmsteen’s name and likeness to promote or imply endorsement of their offerings.

These actions are not only misleading to consumers but may also amount to infringement of trademark and personality rights, and are being reviewed by our legal team for immediate action.

Yngwie Malmsteen has not endorsed, authorized, or collaborated with any third-party vendor selling such products unless explicitly stated through his official channels.

We strongly advise all companies and individuals to cease and desist from any unauthorized use of Mr. Malmsteen’s intellectual property. Legal steps, including the pursuit of damages and takedown requests, will be taken against infringing entities.
